Upon arrival found system serial number 5580 (Goodman) calling for cool, but no air coming out of register grand bedroom, upon further inspection, found ductwork to be torn/detached and collapsed, informed clients of my findings, reattached supply duct for temporary cooling and found now some airflow is present in Grande bedroom, also found a system 2 pounds low on R410 with temperature split of 12° added refrigerant add Client sign acknowledgment form and now system is within specifications getting 18° split, will generate options for duct repair and send to client. Also informed client of comfort plans available and will think about it.

Performed one-time tune-up on (2) 2006 Amana/Goodman r22 split systems (3.5 & 4 ton). Cleared condensation drains from attic (laundry room access). Changed (4) customer supplied filters (sizes noted). Cleaned out electrical compartments. Cleaned condenser coils. Honeywell Smart Color thermostats (9000) working properly. Checked amps, volts, start and run capacitors, refrigerant charges, and temperature splits . Systems are cooling properly at time of service. Homeowner noticed a few registers not putting out air, informed he has damper plates at some registers blocking airflow, recommended having Hyde’s remove registers and remove dampers then reinstall. Due to age of system and the, using r22 Freon, I recommended replacement of full systems before breakdown. Discussed heat pumps, refrigerant changes, etc. went over maintenance plan and benefits vs tuneup.
Performed a cooling maintenance on two split system units. One is a newly installed American standard split system unit. The other is a carrier split system unit check sequence of operations by checking out all electrical and refrigeration levels. At this time, both systems are cooling down the house properly Before arriving temperature inside house was at 88 after leaving the systems lowered by 8 to 12° difference. Cleaned out condensation line and changed. The filter is located inside FAU. Finish maintenance by washing down both condenser unit. Before leaving locked house back up and set thermostat back to 88.
